Visit the Saraswati Temple, an ornate Hindu shrine on a lotus-coated lake, and explore the Sacred Monkey Forest, home to several Hindu shrines and groups of grey, long-tailed macaque monkeys. Trace the walkways to see the temples and monkeys before visiting nearby Puri Saren, a 19th-century royal palace consisting of carved pavilions and flower-perfumed courtyards. Take a guided walk to uncover the palace’s history before heading to one of Ubud’s traditional markets. Browse for handicrafts and souvenirs and enjoy the rest of the afternoon to relax or explore as you please.

Savour breakfast at your hotel before checking out and venturing to the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, one of the island’s most beautiful spots. On arrival, admire the steeped rice fields and learn about the innovative but ancient irrigation system behind them. Then, visit a coffee plantation to learn about “Kopi Luwak” or “Civet Coffee”: a much-lauded variety of the beverage made from coffee cherries digested by the Asian palm civet cat. Afterwards, relax into a comfortable, air-conditioned coach bound for the popular beach area of Seminyak on Bali’s south coast and check-in to your hotel.

Go snorkeling, view marine life from a semi-submersible craft, ride kayaks and banana boats, play volleyball, snooze by the pool, or let the kids loose on the children’s activities. After a barbecue lunch, laze away the rest of the afternoon before returning to the mainland and your hotel.

This morning, soak up the rays by the pool or join our optional Melukat Purification Ceremony at Gria Beji Waterfall where you will embark on a serene journey through Bali’s natural landscapes.

Later this afternoon, we will visit the picture-perfect Hindu complex of Tanah Lot, whose main temple crowns a rock washed by waves.  Wander around its steps and shrines in the late afternoon/early evening – when the temple is at its most enchanting – snap Instagram-worthy photos and look for the mythical snakes said to guard it before returning to the hotel.

Following breakfast, check out Singapore’s highlights on a half-day tour. Start with a panoramic drive around the Civic District to see historic landmarks such as the Padang, Singapore Cricket Club, Parliament House, and the National Gallery Singapore before continuing to Merlion Park to view the iconic half-fish, half-lion Merlion statue. Admire the fountain—representative of Singapore’s fishing roots and original “lion city” name—and absorb the waterfront views over Marina Bay’s skyscrapers, including the infinity-pool-topped Marina Bay Sands hotel.
