I was introduced to AW by a friend who had recently traveled to Japan for the first time and had an outstanding experience. Based on their recommendation, I decided to book our trip through AW for what would be my nephew's and my first visit to Japan.
Even before our journey began, I was impressed by their customer service. I contacted the team several times with different questions while planning our trip, and they were always responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They provided clear information and made me feel confident that we had chosen the right agency.
From the moment we arrived in Japan, everything was flawlessly organized. Ann, who greeted us at the airport, was waiting with a sign displaying our names, making us feel immediately welcomed. She then escorted us to our driver, who accompanied us throughout our itinerary. Every transfer was punctual, smooth, and stress-free.
The itinerary was well planned, easy to follow, and perfectly paced. Every hotel exceeded our expectations—from the seamless check-in process, which our tour guide Lee assisted us with, to the beautiful rooms, outstanding breakfast buffets, and excellent amenities. Several hotels even offered gyms, spas, swimming pools, and traditional hot springs, which made our stay even more memorable.
A special thank you goes to our tour guide, Lee. He was exceptional—attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. His passion for Japan, its history, and its culture truly enhanced our experience. Every city and attraction we visited was thoughtfully organized, allowing us to enjoy each destination without worrying about logistics.

This was my second trip with Affordable World, and they continue to impress. We booked the Bali package with hotels in Ubud and at the beach, and upgraded both from 4 to 5 stars. The results were very different.
In Ubud we stayed at the Nandini hotel and it was spectacular: a beautiful hotel surrounded by nature, a true 5-star experience, and close to everything that truly IS Bali. The upgrade wasn't too expensive and was completely worth it. It was the highlight of the trip.
At the beach we stayed at the Sofitel in Nusa Dua, and that was a different story. The upgrade was much more expensive than Ubud's and, honestly, not worth it. The hotel is not at a 5-star level: very crowded, with a "wannabe Cancún" vibe and none of the essence of Bali. After Nandini, my expectations were high and the Sofitel fell short. The only things I'd rescue are the spa and the dinner on the sand (because there's no nice beach at the hotel).
Special mention for our guide in Bali, Suardhana: one of the best parts of the trip, super attentive, and he helped us resolve everything.
I also want to highlight Affordable World's customer service: we had an issue with an extra bed for my son and they responded incredibly fast to solve it. That kind of support makes a real difference.
Would I recommend this trip to my family? Yes, definitely, but with the warning to choose a different beach hotel instead of the Sofitel. Ubud with Nandini, our guide Suardhana, and Affordable World's great service mean this agency is definitely on my list for future trips.

We appreciate your honest feedback regarding Sofitel Nusa Dua. We’re sorry it did not fully meet your expectations. Since your visit was at the end of June, the resort was entering Bali’s peak season and may have been busier than usual. We also understand that Sofitel offers a different experience from Nandini, with a more modern resort style and a great location near Nusa Dua Beach, rather than the intimate, nature-focused atmosphere you enjoyed in Ubud.

This is one of my best vacations so far! Such a nice culture, people, nature, animals,..Just amazing! Also, our tour guide (Ken) was amazing! So helpful and knowledgeable. Will go back to that side for sure!
The experience was amazing; Japan was everything and more. The guide was very nice and the transportation was good. I only wish the guide would have been more informative on all the sights we went too. All shrines and temples were stunning. I would recommend this agency and will definitely do another tour with them.
