One of Santorini’s most beautiful and traditional villages, Megalochori fringes the island’s caldera cliffs just south of Thira. A cluster of sugar-cube Cycladic houses, cobbled lanes and neo-classical buildings, this tiny gem is dotted with several of Santorini’s trademark churches — bright white chapels topped with turquoise-blue domes.

Enjoy a cable car ride up to the top of Mount Profitis Ilias. From this area you’ll almost have a bird’s eye view. The vantage point is breathtaking. You'll want to take plenty of pictures and videos while in the traditional village of Oia. The beautiful blue and white buildings clinging to the cliffs make for memorable photos that will amaze your friends and family.

Don't forget to sample some of the delicious local food and wine! There are plenty of places to eat all around Santorini.
