Board your international flight today and relax as you fly to Denpasar, the capital of Bali, in the Indonesian archipelago.

On arrival at Denpasar airport, meet your guide and enjoy your first glimpses of Bali on a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Ubud. Nestled in the highlands around an hour from Denpasar, this charming town is Bali’s cultural and artistic heart, and alive with markets, temples, bazaars, bars, and shops.

DAY 3 Ubud: Optional Tegenungan Waterfall & Bali Jungle Swing

Maybe explore Ubud’s art museum before delving into its ancient temples or buying some of its acclaimed artisan crafts at its shops and markets. Alternatively, join our optional tour to the enchanting Tegenungan Waterfall and discover the beauty of Bali from above on a jungle swing over the Ayung River.

DAY 4 Ubud: Optional Landmarks of Ubud

Enjoy today free at leisure. Perhaps recharge at the hotel’s pool or gym, or head into Ubud to experience its bazaars, shrines, and restaurants independently.

Alternatively, join our optional “Landmarks of Ubud” tour to the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces and Ulun Danu Temple. After winding through rustic farming communities and emerald fields, stop to admire Jatiluwih’s 600 hectares of green rice fields, which are tiered into the Batukara mountains. Take photos and after soaking in the paradise-like scenery, continue to Bedugul’s Ulun Danu Temple—a lake temple framed by misty mountains. Stroll around the complex and marvel at the setting before having lunch at a local restaurant and returning to Ubud.

DAY 5 Ubud: Half Day Sightseeing Tour

Set off on a half-day tour of Ubud and its surrounding countryside this morning. Visit the Saraswati Temple, an ornate Hindu shrine on a lotus-coated lake, and explore the Sacred Monkey Forest, home to several Hindu shrines and groups of grey, long-tailed macaque monkeys. Trace the walkways to see the temples and monkeys before visiting nearby Puri Saren, a 19th-century royal palace consisting of carved pavilions and flower-perfumed courtyards. Take a guided walk to uncover the palace’s history before heading to one of Ubud’s traditional markets. Browse for handicrafts and souvenirs and enjoy the rest of the afternoon to relax or explore as you please.

DAY 6 Ubud - Seminyak: Tegallalang Rice Terraces + Optional Jimbaran Beach Seafood Dinner & Hotel Upgrade

Savour breakfast at your hotel before checking out and venturing to the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, one of the island’s most beautiful spots. On arrival, admire the steeped rice fields and learn about the innovative but ancient irrigation system behind them. Then, visit a coffee plantation to learn about “Kopi Luwak” or “Civet Coffee”: a much-lauded variety of the beverage made from coffee cherries digested by the Asian palm civet cat. Afterwards, relax into a comfortable, air-conditioned coach bound for the popular beach area of Seminyak on Bali’s south coast and check-in to your hotel. 

Enjoy the height of luxury during your 4-night beach stay by upgrading to a guest room at the luxury room at the 5-star Sofitel Resort or Similar nearby Nusa Dua. Tonight, join us at an optional seafood beach dinner at the nearby fishing town of Jimbaran—feasting on fresh seafood and lobster to the sound of the waves.

DAY 7 Seminyak: Optional Lembongan Island Beach Club Cruise

Another day of leisure awaits, with the freedom to while away the hours as you please. For a fabulous day on a beach, join our optional day trip to a beach club on the nearby island of Lembongan. Ride a catamaran to this tropical gem and enjoy several hours at its well-equipped beach club—an exciting center for watersports-loving families, couples, and friends. Go snorkeling, view marine life from a semi-submersible craft, ride kayaks and banana boats, play volleyball, snooze by the pool, or let the kids loose on the children’s activities. After a barbecue lunch, laze away the rest of the afternoon before returning to the mainland and your hotel.

DAY 8 Seminyak: Optional The Purification Ceremony at Gria Beiji Waterfall + Tanah Lot

This morning, soak up the rays by the pool or join our optional Melukat Purification Ceremony at Gria Beji Waterfall where you will embark on a serene journey through Bali’s natural landscapes.

Later this afternoon, we will visit the picture-perfect Hindu complex of Tanah Lot, whose main temple crowns a rock washed by waves.  Wander around its steps and shrines in the late afternoon/early evening – when the temple is at its most enchanting – snap Instagram-worthy photos and look for the mythical snakes said to guard it before returning to the hotel.

DAY 9 Seminyak: Optional Benoa Sunset Dinner Cruise

Enjoy more well-deserved R&R today: unwinding at the hotel pool and beach or heading out to purchase last-minute souvenirs. This evening perhaps end your vacation by joining us on an optional sunset dinner cruise. Settle on a comfortable catamaran and sip a welcome cocktail as you sail around Benoa harbor at dusk. Absorb the sunset and sea breezes on deck as you graze on canapes before enjoying a buffet dinner, live cabaret and mellow DJ tunes. Arrive back at your hotel in time for a good night’s rest tonight before tomorrow’s journey.

DAY 10 Bali - USA: Depart From Bali

Check out of your hotel following breakfast and transfer to Densapar airport for your homeward flight to the US.
