DAY 1-2 USA - Bali: Travel Day; Arrive Bali Day 2 + Optional Hotel Upgrade

Depart the US on your international flight and relax as you fly to the capital of Bali, Denpasar, in the beautiful Indonesian archipelago.

On arrival at Denpasar airport, meet your guide and enjoy your first glimpses of Bali on a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Ubud. Nestled in highlands around an hour from Denpasar, this charming town is Bali’s cultural and artistic heart, and alive with markets, temples, bazaars, bars, and shops.

DAY 3 Ubud: Half Day Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, enjoy a guided half-day tour of Ubud and its neighbouring countryside. Tour the Saraswati Temple, an elaborate Hindu shrine seemingly adrift on a lotus-dotted lake, and roam the Sacred Monkey Forest, a natural paradise of nutmeg trees scattered with overgrown Hindu temples and statues, and home to a colony of grey long-tailed macaque monkeys. Follow the pathways to see the temples and playful monkeys, and then continue to the nearby Puri Saren Palace, a 19th-century royal residence composed of decorative pavilions and flower-perfumed quadrangles. Take a guided stroll here to see learn about the palace’s history from your guide, and then head for one of Ubud’s traditional arts markets. Scour the stalls for local handicrafts before enjoying the rest of the afternoon free to relax at your hotel or explore the local area in your own way.

DAY 4 Ubud - Kuta: Tegallalang Rice Terraces + Optional Jimbaran Beach Seafood Dinner & Hotel Upgrade

Savour breakfast at your hotel before checking out and venturing to the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, one of the island’s most beautiful spots. On arrival, admire the steeped rice fields and learn about the innovative but ancient irrigation system behind them. Then, visit a coffee plantation to learn about “Kopi Luwak” or “Civet Coffee”: a much-lauded variety of the beverage made from coffee cherries digested by the Asian palm civet cat. Afterwards, relax into a comfortable, air-conditioned coach bound for the popular beach area of Kuta on Bali’s south coast and check-in to your hotel. 

Enjoy the height of luxury during your 4-night beach stay by upgrading to a guest room at the luxury room at the 5-star Sofitel Resort or Similar in nearby Nusa Dua. Tonight, join us at an optional seafood beach dinner at the nearby fishing town of Jimbaran—feasting on fresh seafood and lobster to the sound of the waves.

DAY 5 Kuta: Optional Lembongan Island Beach Club Cruise

Enjoy the entire day today to immerse yourself in the beach idyll that is this part of Bali. Opt to take things slow at your comfortable hotel, enjoying the beach, pool, and other facilities, or if for something more active, join our optional day trip to Lembongan Island Beach Club on the island of Lembongan, basking off to Bali’s coast. After pickup from your hotel, take a catamaran trip to Lembongan and get several hours to enjoy its well-equipped beach club—an exciting center for watersports-loving families, couples, and friends. Snorkel in the translucent seas, view marine life from a semi-submersible craft, take off on a kayak or banana boat, play volleyball, snooze by the pool, or let the kids loose on the children’s activities. After a barbecue lunch, while away the rest of the afternoon in this beach paradise before sailing back to the mainland by catamaran and returning to your hotel.

DAY 6 Kuta: Optional The Purification Ceremony at Gria Beiji Waterfall + Tanah Lot

This morning, soak up the rays by the pool or join our optional Melukat Purification Ceremony at Gria Beji Waterfall where you will embark on a serene journey through Bali’s natural landscapes.
Later this afternoon, we will visit the picture-perfect Hindu complex of Tanah Lot, whose main temple crowns a rock washed by waves.  Wander around its steps and shrines in the late afternoon/early evening – when the temple is at its most enchanting – snap Instagram-worthy photos and look for the mythical snakes said to guard it before returning to the hotel.

DAY 7 Kuta: Optional Benoa Sunset Dinner Cruise

Ease into another day of relaxation after breakfast this morning: making the most of your last few hours by perfecting your tan by the pool or on the sands, or heading out to snap up last-minute souvenirs of Bali. This evening, you may want to end your vacation with our optional sunset dinner cruise. After a transfer from your hotel, board a modern catamaran and savour a welcome cocktail as you cruise by Bali’s shores and admire a tropical sunset. Nibble canapes as you enjoy the views and sea breezes, and then dive into a buffet dinner accompanied by a live cabaret show and music, and mellow DJ lounge and contemporary tracks. When your cruise finishes, relax with a comfortable transfer back to your hotel, arriving in the mid-evening to allow for a good night’s rest before your flight tomorrow.

DAY 8 Bali - USA: Depart From Bali

Check out of your hotel after breakfast this morning and transfer to Densapar airport for your homeward flight to the US.
